Dr. Gerardo Guillen Nieto holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry (1986) and an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Odessa University, Ukraine, and earned his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Havana University in 1995. He has been recognized as a Senior Researcher since 2001 and was appointed Full Professor at Havana University in 2018 and at the Latin American School of Medicine in 2019. His exceptional career also includes being named a Distinguished Professor-at-Large at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2018. Dr. Guillen is a respected member of both the Cuban Academy of Science (since 2012) and the World Academy of Science (since 2022), showcasing his international acclaim and contributions to the field.
