| Biography | Dr. B. R. Doraswamy Nacik M.Sc.,M.L.I.Sc., Mphil., Ph.D.,(PGDLAN) PGDCA. Presently working as University College Central Library as Associate Professor Library& Information Science, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. He is the first doctorate degree holder credited to JNTUK Kakinada when establishes in 1946 before independent. He has put up more than 16 years professional experience. Previously He has worked in Sri Venkateswara University Library Tirupati and he participated and presented more than 60 National and International conferences workshops and Seminars and more than 45 research papers published in different conference proceedings and international journals. Dr B. R. Doraswamy Naick under Supervision awarded (4-Four) PhD Degrees in library and information science field. He has introduced library Automation, Digital Library, NPTEL and E- Resources at JNT University Kakinada. He faced different UGC committees 12B, Autonomous, NBA, NAAC, AICTE etc He is well recognition in his fields. His area of Interest Include user’s studies, ICT applications and Academic Libraries.
